This hotel suits me perfectly! I enjoy the free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and the relaxed bar area. The staff once helped me find a lost jewel, which I still remember fondly. I highly recommend it for a cozy stay.

The outside sitting area shows signs of neglect—unwanted weeds growing through the stones detracts from any chance of a relaxing space. My room had a window that was screwed shut, raising some safety concerns. a lack of extractor fans made the room feel muggy after a shower. During my stay, there seemed to be delays at the bar with minimal staff clearing tables, leaving drinks and plates unattended even when not busy. A simple upgrade to soft furnishings would also be a good move, as the decor felt a bit tired and could use some refreshing.

Family with children would enjoy the stay
The food was beautiful two nights with 3-course meals and a lovely selection of drinks available at the bar and the staff were super attentive and happy to help
It wasn't cheap but still acceptable considering the stay

A family escape with some hiccups
The room was comfy and clean, particularly liked the size and order of everything. Quiet at night, which was a relief after all the wedding chaos.
It wasn't exactly a bargain but still acceptable for what we got.

Had a fantastic time with the lovely decor and super comfy bed that made it hard to leave! Enjoyed relaxing in the lounge area and playing some games in the leisure room, which added a nice touch. The only hiccup was the breakfast could’ve had more options, but overall, it was a great stay! 😊

The proximity to key motorways makes this place easy to get to, which is a plus when you're trying to make a quick getaway. The lounge areas feel relaxed, perfect for winding down after a long journey.
There’s a four-step staircase leading to the elevator that’s not ideal for anyone carrying luggage, especially older or frail folks. TV reception was a hassle. the BBC channels barely came in, making it unwatchable, and the remote didn’t help either, with most buttons not working. power sockets were a no-show next to the bed, which is a letdown for charging phones overnight. Coffee sachets felt stingy, especially when you want a decent caffeine fix. During checkout, the staff didn’t really follow up on how my stay was. it felt a touch impersonal.

Cozy stay with a few hiccups
We had a cozy little room that was just perfect for us. The restaurant was decent, but I expected more from breakfast. The bathroom really needs a serious update. we were woken up at 5 am by a fire alarm. Not cool! it was okay, but I think I’d look elsewhere for a luxury stay.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
I enjoyed my two-night stay, finding the room cozy and well-kept. the breakfast lacked excitement, with standard options instead of local flavors. I'd recommend trying nearby options for a more fulfilling meal. a decent choice but keep dining expectations realistic.
